Jean Marie Moffa discovered her passion for creating cakes over a dozen years ago, after leaving a teaching career to stay home with her children. Her work was featured in "The Art of the Cake" exhibit in Bloomington, Indiana's Gallery North of the Square.

In her Michigan-based business, Great Cakes, Jean Marie creates the finest-quality cakes and specializes in rolled fondant decoration. She teaches techniques using Satin Ice rolled fondant throughout the country to bakers in the industry.

Essentially self-taught, her inner drive to make cakes both remarkably delicious to eat and strikingly beautiful to look at keeps her ever-evolving in her craft.
